The New Iphone is upgraded with new functions and applications.It is everything you need and more.If you get lost there is a global positioning system therefore,you can locate where you are whenever you want.It has a unlimited amount of applications you can download over the internet.More and more people are tempted to buy one.Most of those who sucumb to temptation are adults.

Basically a phone is to be used for one purpose;to talk for appropriate reasons.There is no need for special gadgets like that.Any simple phone will do. This also caused more teenagers to get spoilt.Their parents would buy more expensive handphones.The number of children who have handphones are tremendously increasing.Some parents even buy phones for children who dont need it.This can make a child believe that he or she does not need to study or work hard as they will always be financially supported by their parents.This will also cause the child to loose their drive to do well or suceed in life.

Opinion 1:
The park is actually a very good idea as it would make an amazing tourist attraction.Although there is alot of hustle and bustle in New York,this can be a good place where stressed people come to unwind and relax.The park is going to be built on an old elevated railway station.It will be called the 'Skypark' and it will virtually float in the sky due to the height of the railway station from the ground.This adds on to the tranquility of the park.If you ask me,its a controversial act and New York may face problems in the long run.

The park will be a good tourist attraction but wont New York be destroying a historic landmark?The railway lines has been in New York for centuries.It has been used during the World War 2.How would the public respond to the news?Would they be happy that a new and futuristic park is going to be constructed or would they be dispappointed that a historic landmark is going to be demolished.

Two women from the BMW motor industry have made a stylish BMW roadster,primarily for women
opinion 1:
Normally cars symbolise men but that is actually stereo typing as,there are an increasing no. of female drivers .I'm not surprised that two women made a stunningly designed car but I'm quite surprised that the public is not supportive of this made- by-women-for-women concept car .I also think that the communities in Singapore are getting more affluent as,more people are buying cars especially wommen .

News 1:
In Northern Phillipines a ferry carrying 200 people capsized.The devastation was caused by one of the crew members who was counting the number of passengers boarding the ferry.When his friend called him to ask if he could help,he loss of count and continued to let passengers in.Due to the crew member`s miscalculation the ferry capsized.
News 2:
Snowfall blankets Las Vegas,"Bright Lights". I think this event is very rare as it rarely snows in Las Vegas.I think the people there are very lucky because they will have a snowy christmas this year but,some people there might not be used to snow and might feel slightly uncomfortable.Singaporeans are quite unlucky as we cant experience winter.

The housing development board will be offering 4000 smaller flats over the next two years.The flats would be probably filled with 2 or 3 room apartments.I think that what the (HDB) is doing very useful as many low income families would find it easier to search for houses.

The Youth Olympics is starting off with a bang,300 teens auditioned to host and comentate the games.I think this is a good opportunity for teens to showcase their talents in hosting.This is quite a good response from teens.If i were a teen i would definitely try it out.

Commuters are asked to leave an mrt train as smoke was emitted from the 1st Airconditioning unit.I think that this would have been very distracting for the passengers that were in the mrt train.It have also been a chemical hazard for the people who were inside the train.

Former flight attendant was prisoned for 18 years for abusing her maid.She abused her maid by scaldering her with boiling hot water and an iron i was surprised when i heard this.Abusing someone is one of the most cruel things a person can do.

first death sentence in forty-nine years was issued new hamshire.it was given to a man who murdered a woman in a pub.I think that this man committed this crime without any motive.I think that he did when he was piss drunk.It is a pity that people commit senseless crimes under the influence of alcahol.

4.drowning brother
“Yeahhh ! I am going to the beach” I exclaimed in delight as I packed my swimming clothes. It was the start of the school holiday. My father had promised us a fun filled day at the beach. As it was a sunny and bright day, I packed my sunscreen to protect myself from exposure to the harmful UV rays. I wanted to dive underwater and search for different types of seashells. I also wanted to stay far away from my younger brother who was irritating me the whole week.
When we reached the sandy shores, we set up a picnic umbrella for our shelter. We immediately rushed to the inviting sea. After I found my share of seashells , I went back to our picnic umbrella . All of us except my brother was under the umbrella. My brother was playing at the shore of the beach. We were having our lunch, not realising that the tide was coming in. When we looked at the shore, my brother was no where to be found. We frantically ran to the waters in search for my younger brother. We saw him floating helplessly like a rag doll.
My father immediately swam out into the water and dragged my unconscious brother to the shore. The lifeguards who were stationed at the beach rushed to the aid of my brother. They performed CPR on my brother. after a while, my brother regained consciousness. This ordeal will forever be etched in my mind.

3.behaviour of neighbours
“Ahh…….it’s Sunday, the best day of the week” I said as I was watching television.My sister was listening to the radio and my brother was singing with his karaoke machine . I was having a great day when my neighbour rudely interrupted me by knocking loudly on the door .When I opened the door he told me to keep the noise level down.” Why should I keep the noise level down? Mind your own business, I said, as I purposely slammed the door shut.
I was irritated by his rude and obnoxious request. After I regained my composure, I resumed my favourite Sunday afternoon activity which was watching television. Again I heard a loud knock on my door. When I opened my door, I saw my neighbour standing there with an angry look on his face. He said “I am going to call the police if you don’t keep the noise level down.”
I now realised that he is doing this tit for tat. We had a similar incident where I had called the police . Instead of succumbing to his request, I challenged him to call the police thinking that he would back down.

2.Fire
“Vinith, go do your choirs”, my mother exclaimed as she went to work. I decided to iron my clothes first. I shuffled my way to the ironing board. There was a basket full of clothes for me to iron. I switched on the iron and waited for it to get heated. My task was to iron all my t-shirts.
While waiting for it to get heated, the phone started to ring. It was my friend, Akbar. He wanted to discuss about Ms Tan`s lesson today. Akbar was going on and on and on, and I completely forgot about my ironing. Suddenly, I smelt something burning followed by the sight of smoke bellowing out of the window which I ironed next to.
I raced back up to find a fire on my room curtain, the fire was spreading rapidly throughout my room. I ran down to get a bucket of water from my kitchen. By the time I came it had spread throughout the second storey of my house. I twist and turned to find a way between the fire where I can put it out. Soon I was trapped, surrounded by menacing flames.
The flames circled around me as if having a victory dance for their successful capture. I was falling in and out of consciousness, soon after I was in oblivion. When I woke up I was in a hospital. I was surrounded by my friends and family. The fire was due to my carelessness. I will never forget this horrible ordeal.
